Job Description Summary
Under direct supervision, the C# Asp.net MVC Developer will provide technical support to the Corporate Actuarial team, which includes the development of an inhouse web app designed to automate our regulatory reporting and provide real time insights to both the team and wider business. Computer Engineering or similar degree preferred. Experience gained in ASP.NET MVC and C# either during studies or through 1 to 2 years industry experience.
This role will include significant exposure to senior personnel at Travelers, including the head of Corporate Actuarial who is involved in the coding, as well as process efficiency actuaries and the rest of the team.
Development of an inhouse web application designed to automate regulatory reporting and provide real time insights to the actuarial team as well as the wider business.
Help to design insurance data transformations to be “a click of a button”, to better analyze results and offer more insight.
Working with the process efficiency actuary to seek opportunities to simplify, streamline and automate actuarial processes
Significant exposure to senior personnel at Travelers, including the head of Corporate Actuarial
Actuarial exams are not essential for this role.
