We are seeking an exceptional and highly driven teammate to join our Video International team. The Video international team is part of Apple’s International Services team, which represents all of Apple’s services (App Store, Music, Video, News, Books, iCloud, Fitness+ and Podcast). As a Video Business Development Executive, you will be supporting our international third party video partnerships and integration with Apple’s video product. You’ll also play an important role in developing the distribution of Apple TV+ through leading pay-tv providers and aggregators.
Key Qualifications
Relevant media industry experience in account management, licensing, business development or sales; and/or equivalent experience in management consulting, market research or banking.
Proven success managing partnerships, with experience in commercial strategies, planning and go to market.
Ideally strong familiarity with the streaming video industry, including emerging trends, key platforms and prevailing business models.
Outstanding project management and organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and work streams simultaneously.
Stellar communication and presentation skills : ability to communicate verbally and in writing to a variety of audience including senior external and internal leadership.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly translate data into practical insights; and the ability to clearly present business insights to senior leadership.
A strategic mentality that is naturally curious and is consistently looking for news ways of developing business in order to drive growth.
Proactive, results driven and highly adaptable attitude.
Standout colleague, collaborative, enjoying healthy debate but capable of understanding and committing to other’s perspectives.
Preference for candidates that have experience working in an International role or as part of a global organisation.
Description
Support the delivery of partnerships with international third party video providers and services. Support our Apple TV+ distribution effort with leading international pay TV providers and aggregators. Project manage partnerships implementation and go to market with partners and various internal stakeholders such as legal, operations, commerce and marketing teams. Support and cultivate strong relationships with our partners and internal stakeholders. Help the team to identify and define business development priorities and opportunities. Monitor, track and report international video partnerships KPIs and progress. Coordinate our effort with various internal teams to meet our business development goals.
Education & Experience
University degree preferred but not essential. MBA or Post-Graduate is a plus.
Additional Requirements
Proficiency in English is required. Additional language is a plus.
