Why we’re hiring:
Reporting to the HCM Change, Communications and Learning Lead, the Change Manager is responsible for delivering the project change and communications strategy and readiness approach aligned to a cluster of WPP Operation companies and countries. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day project change activities to timelines, facilitating change and end user adoption of the new ways of working through the development and effective delivery of communications and supporting readiness through training.
3 positions. One hire in UK, one in North America and one in APAC. Ideally, we would like to hire these positions on a permanent basis, but contractors available at short notice will also be considered.
What you’ll be doing:
Delivering the change management plan and engagement strategy, including a sponsorship framework and change network.
Completing a change impact assessment to assess change impacts for all audiences by gaining a detailed understanding of key changes for each user group, country and business unit.
Managing the day-to-day execution of the change plan across the change network.
Ensure key change, communication and learning risks/issues are logged as part of the governance process and manage escalations from respective business units.
Engage with the global change network across the business.
Facilitate business change and readiness workshops as required.
Working with the Change, Communications and Learning Lead to develop a detailed engagement and communications plan that will result in a high level of user adoption.
Own and execute communications and the cascading of messaging to senior leadership, the HR community, managers and employees.
Working with the project team and consulting with the learning lead to ensure the training delivery aligns to the overall engagement strategy.
Support the development of end-user materials and reference guides.
What you’ll need:
3-5 years of hands-on change management experience.
Strong consultative skills including ability to anticipate, analyse and advise on issues.
Effective leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to engage individuals at all levels of the organisation.
Excellent communication skills including verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation.
Strong organisational and analytical skills including systems thinking and problem solving.
Experience with HR systems, Workday implementation experience is preferred.
Proficient knowledge of the human resource function and processes. Experience working in HR is desired.
Adaptability and flexibility in handling multiple planned and unplanned responsibilities, as well as competing priorities.
The ability to collaborate well in team environment, manage conflict, support team success, and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
Ability to be flexible with working hours to accommodate working within a global team in multiple time zones.
